Len Yurovsky is an American
fine artist, Washington Museum Art Director and Art Collector, based between Rome, Paris, Washington, and Miami.
His paintings are distinguished by bold strokes of red, blue, and yellow, interwoven with large dark masses and luminous planes of intensely burning color. Blending his signature palette with elements from the world around him—landscapes, cityscapes, nudes, and still lifes—Len has developed a powerful and unmistakable body of abstract work. His compositions, deeply intuitive and subconsciously expressive, are the result of years of observation, experimentation, and refinement.
During his travels throughout Europe, particularly in France and Italy, Yurovsky has connected with fashion and textile designers who have expressed keen interest in his work. Many see strong potential for collaboration, envisioning his vibrant imagery translated into fabric, clothing, and accessory design.

Every day, we must live in love with beauty—finding joy in every moment. Beauty is never out of sight. It lives in the eyes of those who behold it with love. What we look at with love becomes beautiful.
We seek happiness, love, harmony of the spirit. Yet these are everywhere—they don’t need to be chased to the far corners of the earth. Even an apple falling on your head can transform your entire inner world.
True beauty arises in the silence of our presence. Paintings do not make noise—they teach us silence. And only in silence can we truly observe how thoughts give birth to the world. Why only see the obvious, when you can feel the incredible? Treat your soul to sensation. Immerse your mind and spirit fully.
The paintings of Len Yurovsky are crystalline in their simplicity—simplicity of the brush, of the soul, of the self. There is no alternative to such purity. His work is himself, and the world around him.
His art evokes an acute, almost painful sense of wonder—bringing us face to face with our own spiritual reflection. Deep, rich colors wrap us in a warm veil. It is not simply joy or sadness, not a reward or a trial—it is a journey into a fabulous and magical land. A path into uncharted mystery, waiting to be discovered.
Each painting opens slowly, like petals revealing vibrant, burning hues—beckoning the viewer. A glowing extravaganza of light, setting the stage for a unique and personal dance. Dance, sing, whirl in a passionate frenzy—the colors of life in motion. Everything comes alive. Everything flutters with love. Everything trembles with a lust for life. It arrives—unstoppable—this flight of joyful renewal.
In an ocean of color—like sunlit lakes in the sky—his paintings play and pulse with light. The heart of the work lies in the interplay of tones and textures, in smooth transitions and bold contrasts.
As you experience his art, you may feel your body infused with energy—your soul and mind awakened. If only you could bottle that healing power like homemade jam to savor in winter.
Each viewer must decide for themselves what they wish to find in these works.
All travelers, whether they wish to or not, are changed.
Len Yurovsky’s artistic evolution is natural—and welcome—because in it, we are gifted with new experiences, new emotions, and a fresh opportunity to contemplate the world through his eyes.
