Mystical History of the Earth

An Art and Philosophy Project by gARY Goryani

Presented by:

The National Museum of American-Eurasian Art & Culture AND

The American-Eurasian Art Foundation

“Mystical History of the Earth” is a multidisciplinary art exhibition by Ukrainian-born artist Gary Goryani, dedicated to the development of Cosmosophy—a visionary philosophical approach that seeks to unite scientific knowledge and spiritual insight in the study of the Earth’s origin, evolution, and its place within the cosmos.

Through a series of large-scale paintings, installations, and mixed-media works, Goryani invites the viewer on a journey that traces the deep history of the planet, the emergence of life, and humanity’s evolving relationship with the universe. The project highlights both the material and metaphysical dimensions of existence, offering an immersive, contemplative experience.

Conceptual Framework

The exhibition is inspired by the work of visionary 20th-century thinkers such as Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Vladimir Vernadsky, and Yuri Shwiedak. Each explored the interconnectedness of life, energy, and cosmic evolution through scientific, philosophical, and spiritual frameworks.

As expressed in this project, Cosmosophy presents a holistic worldview in which Earth is not merely a physical planet but a conscious, evolving entity within the greater cosmos. This perspective invites a reconsideration of humanity’s role as an active and responsible participant in planetary and universal processes.

The Ring of Faith
Truth will set you free. At the heart of the design of the canvas-complex geometric shapes, the artists, Len Yurovsky and Gary Goryany borrows these forms in nature and puts the foundation of the design, accentuating the dramatic spiritual light. Take a look at the canvas, whether it resembles a dense crown of buildings, through which sunshine brightens. The non-flashing light of St. Peter's Cathedral! The Light of Faith! Belief in the future without armed conflicts, inequalities in the world, condemnation of the tyranny of money, and the need to find faith in God in the modern digital age. The light of the sacrificial love of the Almighty for mankind, to those living and dying on Earth, is present in The Ring of Faith.
